Oregon High School Basketball - Yamhill-Carlton succumbs to Gervais
December 17, 2021: Gervais, OR 97026 The Gervais Cougars topped the visiting Yamhill-Carlton Tigers basketball team by a final score of 60-42 in Friday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Cougars face the Western Christian Pioneers (Salem, OR) in a 2A Tri-River game, on Thursday, January 13. Gervais will attempt to move on its 6-2 season record.
With the defeat, Yamhill-Carlton moves to 1-5 on the year. The Tigers travel to St. Helens (St. Helens, OR) to face the Lions in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 4. The Lions enter the game with a record of 1-3. St. Helens lost 72-25 in their recent non-league game against Sunset (Portland, OR)
