California High School Soccer - Santa Paula knocks off Independence
December 17, 2021: Santa Paula, CA 93060 Santa Paula Cardinals (Santa Paula, CA) supporters were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Independence Falcons (Bakersfield, CA), 4-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Cardinals confront the Taft Toreadors (Woodland Hills, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 18. Santa Paula will attempt to improve on its 2-8 season record. The Toreadors come into the battle with a 3-5 record after their 6-0 non-league loss to Moorpark (Moorpark, CA).
The Falcons (3-9) will now prepare for their battle against Royal (Simi Valley, CA). The Highlanders come into the non-league battle with a 1-6 record. In their last battle, Royal by Golden Valley (Bakersfield, CA), 3-2, in a non-league battle.
