December 17, 2022: Blythewood, SC 29016 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Albany Academy for Boys Cadets (Albany, NY) and the host Blythewood Bengals (Blythewood, SC), saw Albany Academy for Boys's basketball squad hold off Blythewood by a tally of 62-60.
With the victory, Albany Academy for Boys improves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Cadets travel to Paulding County (Dallas, GA) to confront the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 19. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 5-5. Paulding County won 56-48 in their recent non-league challenge against Peachtree Ridge (Suwanee, GA)
Next up, the Bengals confront the Lower Richland Diamond Hornets (Hopkins, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 27. Blythewood will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record. The Diamond Hornets come into the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 50-34 non-league loss to A.C. Flora (Columbia, SC).
