Louisiana High School Basketball - Arcadia nips Southwood
December 17, 2022: Arcadia, LA 71001 Arcadia Hornets (Arcadia, LA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Southwood Cowboys (Shreveport, LA), 62-57 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Arcadia upgrades its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Hornets host Lincoln Prep (Grambling, LA) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 4-3. Lincoln Prep won 49-44 in their recent non-league bout against Tensas (St. Joseph, LA)
Next up, the Cowboys play the JS Clark Leadership Academy Bulldogs (Opelousas, LA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 20. Southwood will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 3-5 record after their 55-39 non-league loss to Family Christian (Baton Rouge, LA).
