Arkansas High School Basketball - Armorel succumbs to McCrory
December 17, 2022: McCrory, AR 72101 The McCrory Jaguars topped the visiting Armorel Tigers basketball team by a final score of 53-40 in Saturday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Jaguars face the Hazen Hornets (Hazen, AR) in a 2A Region 6 game, on Saturday, January 7. McCrory will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record. The Hornets enter the game with a 0-4 record after their 74-49 league loss to Lee (Marianna, AR).
With the defeat, Armorel moves to 3-7 on the year. The Tigers host Maynard (Maynard, AR) to face the Tigers in a 1A Region 3 game on Tuesday, January 3. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 5-6. Maynard won 58-56 in their recent league bout against Crowley's Ridge Academy (Paragould, AR)
