Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Riverdale Ridge Ravens (Thornton, CO) and the host Brighton Bulldogs (Brighton, CO), saw Riverdale Ridge's basketball squad knock off Brighton by a count of 81-73.

With the victory, Riverdale Ridge upgrades its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Ravens host Thompson Valley (Loveland, CO) to play the Eagles in a 5A/4A Longs Peak challenge on Friday, January 6. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 6-1. Thompson Valley won 82-45 in their recent league challenge against Roosevelt (Johnstown, CO)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Arvada West Wildcats (Arvada, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 6. Brighton will attempt to advance on its 4-4 season record.
