In Saturday's non-league match, the host Carver Montgomery Wolverines basketball team scored a good 59-49 triumph over the LaFayette Bulldogs.

In their next game, the Wolverines meet the LeFlore Rattlers (Mobile, AL) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, December 20. Carver Montgomery will attempt to move on its 4-8 season record. The Rattlers enter the match with a 7-3 record after their 53-47 non-league win over Murphy (Mobile, AL).
