Ohio High School Basketball - Central Christian topped by Sandy Valley
December 17, 2022: Magnolia, OH 44643 The Sandy Valley Cardinals basketball team scored 67 points and restricted the visiting Central Christian Comets to 49 in the Cardinals non-league victory on Saturday.
The Cardinals now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Garaway for a Inter-Valley contest on Tuesday, December 20. Sandy Valley will battle a Pirates team coming off a 59-22 league win over Ridgewood (West Lafayette, OH). The Pirates record now stands at 5-0.
The Comets (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against St. Peter's (Mansfield, OH). The Spartans come into the Mid-Buckeye contest with a 1-6 record. In their last contest, St. Peter's was defeated by Mansfield Christian (Mansfield, OH), 73-62, in a league contest.
