Nebraska High School Basketball - Mead crushes East Butler
December 17, 2022: Mead, NE 68041 Mead Raiders (Mead, NE) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting East Butler Tigers (Brainard, NE), 60-30 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Mead upgrades its record to 6-0 on the season. The Raiders travel to Cross County (Stromsburg, NE) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 22. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 6-0. Cross County won 58-43 in their recent non-league bout against Bruning-Davenport/Shickley (Bruning, NE)
Next up, the Tigers play the David City Scouts (David City, NE) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 3. East Butler will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Scouts go into the bout with a 3-2 record after their 42-36 league win over Lakeview (Columbus, NE).
