December 17, 2022: Ledyard, CT 06339 The Fitch Falcons (Groton, CT) basketball crushed the host Ledyard Colonels (Ledyard, CT), 71-34 in Saturday's league test.
The Falcons (2-0) will now prepare for their test against Waterford (Waterford, CT). The Lancers go into the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Waterford was trounced by Killingly (Killingly, CT), 48-41, in a league test.
The Colonels now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Windham for a Eastern Connecticut I test on Tuesday, December 20. Ledyard will encounter a Whippets squad coming off a 59-55 non-league win over Woodstock Academy (Woodstock, CT). The Whippets record now stands at 2-0.
