North Carolina High School Basketball - Franklin Academy fells St. Thomas More Academy

Franklin Academy Patriots (Wake Forest, NC) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting St. Thomas More Academy Chancellors (Raleigh, NC), 52-34 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Franklin Academy upgrades its record to 8-5 on the season. The Patriots host Triangle Math & Science (Cary, NC) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 1-8. Triangle Math & Science lost 65-27 in their recent non-league bout against Princeton (Princeton, NC)

Next up, the Chancellors play the Kerr-Vance Academy Spartans (Henderson, NC) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 4. St. Thomas More Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record.
