Iowa High School Basketball - Lewis Central knocked off by Freeman
December 17, 2022: Council Bluffs, IA 51503 The Freeman Falcons basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Lewis Central Titans to 51 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Falcons now sport a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Johnson County Central for a C2 District 1 contest on Thursday, December 22. Freeman will meet a Thunderbirds team coming off a 55-44 non-league win over Louisville (Louisville, NE). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 4-3.
The Titans (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Glenwood (Glenwood, IA). The Rams enter the Hawkeye Ten contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Glenwood ran past Plattsmouth (Plattsmouth, NE), 69-48, in a non-league contest.
