New York High School Basketball - Schenectady can't hold off Gloversville
December 17, 2022: Schenectady, NY 12308 The Gloversville Huskies/Dragons basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the host Schenectady Patriots to 48 in the Huskies/Dragons non-league victory on Saturday.
The Huskies/Dragons now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hudson Falls for a Section 2 Foothills contest on Tuesday, December 20. Gloversville will battle a Tigers team coming off a 56-44 non-league win over Shaker (Latham, NY). The Tigers record now stands at 3-0.
The Patriots (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Shenendehowa (Clifton Park, NY). The Plainsmen come into the Section 2 Suburban - Blue contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Shenendehowa was nudged by Middletown (Middletown, NY), 68-61, in a non-league contest.
