The Monroe Central Golden Bears (Parker City, IN) basketball knocked off the visiting Hagerstown Tigers (Hagerstown, IN), 54-39 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Golden Bears (1-5) will now prepare for their test against South Adams (Berne, IN). The Starfires go into the non-league test with a 1-6 record. In their last test, South Adams went down by Heritage (Monroeville, IN), 64-24, in a league test.

The Tigers now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they travel to Edinburgh for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 27. Hagerstown will encounter a Lancers squad coming off a 62-45 non-league win over Trinity Lutheran (Seymour, IN). The Lancers record now stands at 5-2.
