Missouri High School Basketball - Union nips Illini West
December 17, 2022: Union, MO 63084 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Union Wildcats (Union, MO) and the visiting Illini West Chargers (Carthage, IL), saw Union's basketball squad hold off Illini West by a tally of 57-55.
With the victory, Union improves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Rolla (Rolla, MO) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 13. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 6-2.
Next up, the Chargers play the Liberty Eagles (Liberty, IL) in a West Central challenge, on Tuesday, December 20. Illini West will attempt to improve on its 6-5 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 1-8 record after their 59-30 non-league loss to Beardstown (Beardstown, IL).
