Connecticut High School Basketball - Killingly nips Waterford
December 17, 2022: Killingly, CT 06241 Killingly Redmen (Killingly, CT) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Waterford Lancers (Waterford, CT), 48-41 in a league bout.
With the win, Killingly upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Redmen host Bacon Academy (Colchester, CT) to play the Bobcats in a Eastern Connecticut II bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Bacon Academy lost 71-57 in their recent non-league bout against Griswold (Griswold, CT)
Next up, the Lancers play the Fitch Falcons (Groton, CT) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 20. Waterford will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 71-34 league win over Ledyard (Ledyard, CT).
