Illinois High School Basketball - West Aurora nips Lane Tech
December 17, 2022: Aurora, IL 60506 West Aurora Blackhawks (Aurora, IL) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Lane Tech Lane Tech (Chicago, IL), 61-54 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, West Aurora upgrades its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Blackhawks travel to Pontiac (Pontiac, IL) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 28. The Indians come into the bout with a record of 7-3. Pontiac lost 54-37 in their recent league bout against Prairie Central (Fairbury, IL)
Next up, the Lane Tech play the Saint Ignatius College Prep Wolfpack (Chicago, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 20. Lane Tech will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Wolfpack come into the bout with a 9-1 record after their 51-43 league win over Fenwick (Oak Park, IL).
