The Middle Township Panthers topped the visiting Sankofa Freedom Academy Warriors basketball team by a final score of 59-43 in Saturday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Panthers face the St. Augustine Prep Hermits (Richland, NJ) in a Cape/Atlantic - United game, on Monday, December 19. Middle Township will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Hermits enter the game with a 2-0 record after their 54-51 league win over Egg Harbor Township (Egg Harbor Township, NJ).

With the defeat, Sankofa Freedom Academy moves to 4-5 on the year.
