December 17, 2022: Morristown, NJ 07960 The Mountain Lakes Lakers basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the host Morristown-Beard Crimson to 39 in the Lakers non-league victory on Saturday.
The Lakers now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hanover Park for a non-league contest on Monday, December 19. Mountain Lakes will battle a Hornets team coming off a 68-42 non-league win over Roselle Park (Roselle Park, NJ). The Hornets record now stands at 1-0.
The Crimson (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Parsippany (Parsippany, NJ). The Redhawks come into the Northwest Jersey - Independence contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Parsippany was defeated by Dover (Dover, NJ), 52-45, in a non-league contest.
