December 17, 2022: Waukon, IA 52172 The Waukon Indians basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the visiting North Butler Bearcats to 41 in the Indians non-league victory on Saturday.
The Indians now sport a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hempstead for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 17. Waukon will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 60-39 league loss to Wahlert (Dubuque, IA). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-4.
The Bearcats (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Nashua-Plainfield (Nashua, IA). The Huskies come into the Corn Bowl contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Nashua-Plainfield prevailed over St. Ansgar (St. Ansgar, IA), 66-61, in a league contest.
