In Saturday's non-league outing, the Northern Highlands Highlanders (Allendale, NJ) basketball squad edged the visiting Pascack Valley Panthers (Hillsdale, NJ), by a count of 67-65.

The Highlanders (2-0) will now prepare for their outing against NV - Demarest (Demarest, NJ). The Norsemen go into the non-league outing with a 2-0 record. In their last outing, NV - Demarest held off Lakeland Regional (Wanaque, NJ), 51-42, in a non-league outing.
