The Valley Center Hornets basketball team (Valley Center, KS), dropped 83-72 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host West Pioneers (Wichita, KS)

The Pioneers now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kapaun Mt. Carmel for a non-league battle on Friday, January 6.

The Hornets (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against Goddard (Goddard, KS). The Lions come into the Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail II battle with a 2-2 record. In their last battle, Goddard dropped by Hutchinson (Hutchinson, KS), 59-50, in a non-league battle.
