Virginia High School Basketball - West Point ripped by Warhill
December 17, 2022: West Point, VA 23181 The Warhill Lions basketball team scored 76 points and held the host West Point Pointers to 22 in the Lions non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Lions now sport a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bruton for a Bay Rivers contest on Wednesday, January 4. Warhill will meet a Panthers team coming off a 46-45 non-league loss to Williamsburg Christian Academy (Williamsburg, VA). The Panthers record now stands at 2-7.
The Pointers (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Carver College and Career Academy (Chester, VA). The Wolverines enter the Tidewater contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Carver College and Career Academy triumphed over Charles City (Charles City, VA), 76-39, in a league contest.
