Arizona High School Basketball - American Leadership Academy - West Foothills overwhelmed by Chaparral

The Chaparral Firebirds basketball team scored 67 points and restricted the host American Leadership Academy - West Foothills Guardians to 30 in the Firebirds non-league victory on Saturday.

The Firebirds now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Williams Field for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 4. Chaparral will battle a Black Hawks team coming off a 50-23 non-league win over Verrado (Buckeye, AZ). The Black Hawks record now stands at 4-1.

The Guardians (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Parker (Parker, AZ). The Broncs come into the 3A West contest with a 6-1 record. In their last contest, Parker triumphed over Needles (Needles, CA), 55-42, in a non-league contest.
