Iowa High School Basketball - Atlantic nips Nodaway Valley
December 17, 2022: Atlantic, IA 50022 Atlantic Trojans (Atlantic, IA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Nodaway Valley Wolverines (Greenfield, IA), 60-56 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Atlantic upgrades its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Trojans host Shenandoah (Shenandoah, IA) to play the Mustangs in a Hawkeye Ten bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 4-4. Shenandoah lost 48-34 in their recent league bout against St. Albert (Council Bluffs, IA)
Next up, the Wolverines play the Mount Ayr Raiders (Mount Ayr, IA) in a Pride of Iowa - West bout, on Tuesday, December 20. Nodaway Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record.
