Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Cory-Rawson Hornets (Rawson, OH) and the visiting Ridgemont Golden Gophers (Mount Victory, OH), saw Cory-Rawson's basketball squad wallop Ridgemont by a tally of 57-25.

With the victory, Cory-Rawson improves its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Hardin Northern (Dola, OH) to play the Polar Bears in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 3. The Polar Bears come into the challenge with a record of 3-3.

Next up, the Golden Gophers play the Urbana Hillclimbers (Urbana, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 19. Ridgemont will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Hillclimbers come into the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 53-32 league win over Northwestern (Springfield, OH).
