Arizona High School Basketball - Estrella Foothills can't hold off Sahuaro

The Sahuaro Cougars basketball team scored 29 points and held the visiting Estrella Foothills Wolves to 24 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Cougars now sport a 15-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Paloma Valley for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 27. Sahuaro will face a Wildcats team coming off a 51-28 non-league win over Temecula Valley (Temecula, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-5.

With the defeat, Estrella Foothills moves to 12-2 on the year. The Wolves travel to Youngker (Buckeye, AZ) to face the Roughriders in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 20. The Roughriders enter the game with a record of 3-5. Youngker lost 47-38 in their recent non-league game against Apollo (Glendale, AZ)
