Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Ogallala Indians (Ogallala, NE) and the visiting Gering Bulldogs (Gering, NE), saw Ogallala's basketball squad overcome Gering by a tally of 53-45.

With the victory, Ogallala improves its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Ralston (Ralston, NE) to confront the Rams in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 29. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 0-5.

Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Scottsbluff Bearcats (Scottsbluff, NE) in a B District 8 challenge, on Tuesday, December 20. Gering will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Bearcats come into the challenge with a 4-4 record after their 59-34 non-league loss to More (Rapid City, SD).
