Harker Eagles (San Jose, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Independence 76ers (San Jose, CA), 46-36 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Harker upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Eagles travel to Piedmont Hills (San Jose, CA) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 3-3. Piedmont Hills won 69-10 in their recent non-league bout against James Lick (San Jose, CA)

Next up, the 76ers play the Saratoga Falcons (Saratoga, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 20. Independence will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 3-5 record after their 61-47 non-league loss to Half Moon Bay (Half Moon Bay, CA).
