Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the North Central Thunderbirds (Farmersburg, IN) and the visiting Lighthouse Christian Academy Lions (Bloomington, IN), saw North Central's basketball squad wallop Lighthouse Christian Academy by a tally of 74-11.

With the victory, North Central improves its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds travel to North Posey (Poseyville, IN) to play the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 26. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 5-4. North Posey lost 53-40 in their recent non-league challenge against Evansville Reitz (Evansville, IN)

Next up, the Lions play the Shoals Jug Rox (Shoals, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 20. Lighthouse Christian Academy will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record. The Jug Rox come into the challenge with a 1-11 record after their 62-24 non-league loss to Borden (Borden, IN).
