In Saturday's non-league match, the host Marana Tigers basketball team scored a good 57-37 triumph over the San Tan Foothills Sabercats.

In their next game, the Tigers meet the Desert Ridge Jaguars (Mesa, AZ) in a non-league match, on Thursday, January 5. Marana will attempt to better on its 3-6 season record.
