North Carolina High School Basketball - Vandalia Christian nips New Manna Christian
December 17, 2022: Greensboro, NC 27406 Vandalia Christian Vikings (Greensboro, NC) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting New Manna Christian Wind (Marion, NC), 37-34 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Vandalia Christian upgrades its record to 4-5 on the season. The Vikings host Woodland Baptist Christian (Winston-Salem, NC) to play the Eagles in a NCCSA AA West District 2 bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 5-4. Woodland Baptist Christian won 54-42 in their recent league bout against Union Grove Christian (Lexington, NC)
Next up, the Wind play the Veritas Christian Academy Warriors (Arden, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 3. New Manna Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 7-1 record after their 68-14 league win over Lake Lure Classical Academy (Lake Lure, NC).
