December 17, 2022: Polo, IL 61064 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the River Ridge/Scales Mound Wildcats (Hanover, IL) and the host Polo Marcos (Polo, IL), saw River Ridge/Scales Mound's basketball squad wallop Polo by a tally of 55-16.
With the victory, River Ridge/Scales Mound improves its record to 13-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Newman Central Catholic (Sterling, IL) to play the Comets in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 19. The Comets come into the challenge with a record of 3-10. Newman Central Catholic won 40-36 in their recent non-league challenge against Polo (Polo, IL)
Next up, the Marcos play the West Carroll Thunder (Savanna, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 20. Polo will attempt to improve on its 5-7 season record. The Thunder come into the challenge with a 3-10 record after their 57-12 non-league loss to River Ridge/Scales Mound (Hanover, IL).
