The Pope Greyhounds basketball team scored 67 points and held the visiting Wheeler Wildcats to 44 in the Greyhounds non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Greyhounds now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Denmark for a non-league contest on Monday, December 19. Pope will battle a team coming off a 40-22 non-league loss to Johns Creek (Johns Creek, GA). The record now stands at 3-10.

The Wildcats (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Indian Land (Fort Mill, SC). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 1-7 record.
