New Mexico High School Basketball - Los Lunas crushes Volcano Vista
December 17, 2022: Albuquerque, NM 87114 Los Lunas Tigers (Los Lunas, NM) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Volcano Vista Hawks (Albuquerque, NM), 48-8 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Los Lunas upgrades its record to 4-4 on the season. The Tigers host Piedra Vista (Farmington, NM) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 0-1.
Next up, the Hawks play the La Cueva Bears (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 20. Volcano Vista will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Bears go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 38-31 non-league win over Hope Christian (Albuquerque, NM).
