December 17, 2022: Peachtree City, GA 30269 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the McIntosh Chiefs (Peachtree City, GA) and the visiting Newnan Cougars (Newnan, GA), saw McIntosh's basketball squad hold off Newnan by a count of 44-40.
With the victory, McIntosh upgrades its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Chiefs travel to Northgate (Newnan, GA) to play the Vikings in a challenge on Friday, January 6. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Cougars play the Heard County Braves (Franklin, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. Newnan will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Braves come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 29-25 non-league win over East Paulding (Dallas, GA).
