Northwest Rankin Cougars (Brandon, MS) supporters were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting St. Martin Yellow Jackets (Ocean Springs, MS), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Cougars confront the Starkville Yellowjackets (Starkville, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 21. Northwest Rankin will attempt to move on its 9-1 season record.

The Yellow Jackets now possess a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they host Vancleave for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 3. St. Martin will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 7-0 league loss to George County (Lucedale, MS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-3.
