California High School Soccer - Pittsburg knocks off Northgate
December 17, 2022: Walnut Creek, CA 94598 Pittsburg Pirates (Pittsburg, CA) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the host Northgate Broncos (Walnut Creek, CA), 4-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Pirates face the San Francisco International Huskies (San Francisco, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 21. Pittsburg will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record. The Huskies enter the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Westmoor (Daly City, CA).
The Broncos now have a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Las Lomas for a challenge on Tuesday, January 3. Northgate will face a Knights team coming off a 3-1 league win over Ygnacio Valley (Concord, CA). The Knights record now stands at 4-0.
