Kentucky High School Basketball - Kings can't hold off DeSales
December 17, 2023: Louisville, KY 40214 The DeSales Colts basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting Kings Knights to 65 in the Colts non-league triumph on Sunday.
The Colts now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Frederick Douglass for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 19. DeSales will battle a Broncos team coming off a 86-45 non-league win over Montgomery County (Mt. Sterling, KY). The Broncos record now stands at 3-1.
The Knights (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Loveland (Loveland, OH). The Tigers enter the Eastern Cincinnati contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Loveland nudged Anderson (Cincinnati, OH), 59-40, in a league contest.
