December 17, 2023: Newtown, PA 18940 Fans at Sunday's non-league challenge between the Archbishop Carroll Patriots (Radnor, PA) and the host George School Cougars (Newtown, PA), saw Archbishop Carroll's basketball squad overcome George School by a tally of 51-40.
With the victory, Archbishop Carroll improves its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Villa Maria Academy (Malvern, PA) to confront the Hurricanes in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 28. The Hurricanes come into the challenge with a record of 6-2. Villa Maria Academy won 50-36 in their recent league challenge against Villa Joseph Marie (Holland, PA)
Next up, the Cougars confront the Agnes Irwin Owls (Rosemont, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 19. George School will attempt to improve on its 5-1 season record. The Owls come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 40-15 non-league win over Merion Mercy Academy (Merion Station, PA).
