Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Pennsbury can't hold off Germantown Academy
December 17, 2023: Fort Washington, PA 19034 The Germantown Academy Patriots basketball team scored 44 points and held the visiting Pennsbury Falcons to 37 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Sunday.
The Patriots now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Nazareth Academy for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 20. Germantown Academy will battle a team coming off a 50-26 non-league loss to Academy-Notre Dame De Namur (Villanova, PA). The record now stands at 2-3.
The Falcons (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Council Rock North (Newtown, PA). The Indians enter the Suburban One - Patriot contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, Council Rock North was nudged by Neshaminy (Langhorne, PA), 54-32, in a league contest.
