Michigan High School Basketball - Alma holds off Mt. Pleasant
December 17, 2024: Alma, MI 48801 The Alma Panthers basketball team scored 51 points and limited the visiting Mt. Pleasant Oilers to 50 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Panthers now have a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Glenn for a Tri-Valley - Red game on Friday, December 20. Alma will confront a Bobcats team coming off a 41-29 league win over Swan Valley (Saginaw, MI). The Bobcats record now stands at 4-2.
With the loss, Mt. Pleasant falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Oilers host Bay City Western (Auburn, MI) to confront the Warriors in a Saginaw Valley game on Thursday, December 19. The Warriors go into the game with a record of 3-5. Bay City Western won 56-49 in their recent league game against Central (Bay City, MI)
