California High School Basketball - Anzar holds off Calvary Christian Academy
December 17, 2024: San Jose, CA 95118 The Anzar Hawks basketball team scored 41 points and limited the host Calvary Christian Academy Lions to 39 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Hawks now possess a 4-1 record. They play next when they host Cindy Avitia for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 18. Anzar will battle a Jaguars team coming off a 77-34 non-league loss to University Prep Academy (San Jose, CA). The Jaguars record now stands at 0-4.
In their next game, the Lions battle the Apostles Lutheran Falcons (Santa Clara, CA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Calvary Christian Academy will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record. The Falcons come into the contest with a 0-5 record after their 69-52 non-league loss to Mid-Peninsula (Menlo Park, CA).
