Illinois High School Basketball - Maine West holds off Buffalo Grove
December 17, 2024: Buffalo Grove, IL 60089 The Maine West Warriors basketball team scored 73 points and limited the host Buffalo Grove Bison to 72 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Warriors now possess a 4-4 record. They play next when they host Niles West for a Central Suburban - North game on Friday, December 20. Maine West will confront a Wolves team coming off a 53-41 non-league loss to Glenbrook South (Glenview, IL). The Wolves record now stands at 3-7.
With the loss, Buffalo Grove falls to 3-6 on the campaign. The Bison travel to Hersey (Arlington Heights, IL) to confront the Huskies in a Mid-Suburban - East game on Friday, December 20.
