December 17, 2024: Carthage, MO 64836 The Carthage Tigers (Carthage, MO) basketball were winner over the visiting East Newton Patriots (Granby, MO), 53-37 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Tigers now possess a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Earle for a non-league bout on Thursday, December 26. Carthage will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 80-76 league loss to Crowley's Ridge Academy (Paragould, AR). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-1.
With the loss, East Newton falls to 3-3 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Clever (Clever, MO) to play the Blue Jays in a non-league bout on Friday, December 20.
