California High School Basketball - Thacher fells Cate
December 17, 2024: Ojai, CA 93023 The Thacher Toads basketball team scored 63 points and limited the visiting Cate Rams to 49 in the Toads non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Toads now have a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Villanova Prep for a Frontier game on Friday, January 10. Thacher will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 50-40 non-league loss to Nordhoff (Ojai, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-6.
With the loss, Cate falls to 5-3 on the campaign. The Rams host Bishop Diego (Santa Barbara, CA) to confront the Cardinals in a Tri-Valley game on Wednesday, December 18. The Cardinals go into the game with a record of 5-6. Bishop Diego lost 70-59 in their recent non-league game against Capistrano Valley (Mission Viejo, CA)
