The Centerville Tigers (Centerville, TX) basketball edged the host Robinson Rockets (Robinson, TX), 44-42 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Tigers now possess a 5-7 record. They play next when they travel to Normangee for a 2A Region III District 20 bout on Friday, December 20. Centerville will play a Panthers team coming off a 67-56 non-league win over Iola (Iola, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 16-2.
