December 17, 2024: Monaca, PA 15061 In Tuesday's non-league test, the Central Valley Warriors (Monaca, PA) basketball squad trounced the visiting Southmoreland Scotties (Alverton, PA), by a score of 72-29.
Next, the Warriors clash with the Beaver Bobcats (Beaver, PA) in a WPIAL 4A 2 test, on Friday, December 20. Central Valley will attempt to improve on its 5-0 season record. The Bobcats come into the test with a 7-0 record after their 72-42 non-league win over Riverside (Ellwood City, PA).
The Scotties (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Charleroi (Charleroi, PA). The Cougars enter the WPIAL 3A 4 outing with a 4-3 record. In their last outing, Charleroi routed California (Coal Center, PA), 70-49, in a non-league outing.
