In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Churchill County Greenwave basketball team scored a big 69-44 triumph over the Truckee Wolverines.

The Greenwave (6-1) will now prepare for their contest against South Tahoe (South Lake Tahoe, CA). The Vikings go into the non-league contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, South Tahoe smashed Lowry (Winnemucca, NV), 61-57, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Wolverines confront the Sparks Railroaders (Sparks, NV) in a 3A Northern - West contest, on Wednesday, January 8. Truckee will attempt to better on its 1-9 season record.
