The Dawson School Mustangs basketball squad (Lafayette, CO), was crushed 63-40 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Liberty Common Eagles (Fort Collins, CO)

With the victory, Liberty Common advances its record to 6-0 on the year. The Eagles travel to Yuma (Yuma, CO) to meet the Outlaws in a 3A Patriot battle on Saturday, January 4. The Outlaws enter the battle with a record of 4-1.

The Mustangs now own a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Union Colony Prep for a 3A/2A/1A Mile High battle on Wednesday, January 8. Dawson School will meet a Timberwolves squad coming off a 73-59 non-league loss to Estes Park (Estes Park, CO). The Timberwolves record now stands at 4-2.
